Harbor Community Health Centers Receives Seven Community Health Center Quality Recognition (CHQR) Badges
Also earned Health Center Quality Leader (HCQL) Gold Badge with top 10% in Nation for Second Year in a Row
San Pedro, CA, September 15, 2025 — Harbor Community Health Centers (HarborCHC) is proud to receive seven awards from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for excellence in clinical quality. HarborCHC is one of only five clinics in the nation, and the only clinic in Los Angeles County, to receive seven awards.
These awards include the Health Center Quality Leader (HCQL) Gold Badge, which places the community health center in the top 10% nationwide for two consecutive years. HarborCHC received three National Quality Leader awards for exceeding national benchmarks in behavioral health, heart health and diabetes, and was again recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.
