Top 10% for clinical quality and one of five centers nationwide with seven badges
SAN PEDRO, Calif., September 16, 2026 — Harbor Community Health Centers (HarborCHC) has earned national recognition for community-based care, receiving seven Community Health Quality Recognition badges from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for excellence in clinical outcomes, access, prevention and health technology.
For the third consecutive year, HarborCHC earned the Health Center Quality Leader Gold badge, placing it among the nation’s top 10% of health centers for clinical quality. HarborCHC is the only community health center in Los Angeles County to achieve the seven-badge distinction. HarborCHC’s 2026 HRSA recognitions include:

HarborCHC’s clinical leadership sees the recognition as a measure of the organization’s approach to quality. “Quality care is built through consistency, accountability and a willingness to keep raising our standards,” said HarborCHC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Caleb Lusk. “National recognition reflects the discipline our team brings to every aspect of care and the clinical systems we have built to measure outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement and translate evidence into better patient care.”
